What happens when a trial ends
Stripe bills the stored payment method. Failed payment moves the subscription toward past_due.

If the trial ends successfully, status becomes active and the purchased seat quantity remains the allowance. If you cancel before the trial ends, do that in the Customer Portal. Calyndr does not keep a separate shadow trial clock.
