How Calyndr works today.
37 articles covering the current product. Public registration is closed. Invite links and hello@calyndr.com still work.
Getting started
Accounts, organizations, onboarding, and the first booking page.
Creating an account
Public signup is closed. Accounts are created by invite or by the Calyndr team.
Starting a trial
Trials are Stripe Checkout sessions on paid plans. They are started from Plan & Billing by an owner.
Creating an organization
Each signed-in user can own one organization. A second organization is refused.
Completing onboarding
The Setup checklist covers organization, hours, staff, a meeting type, branding, and a test booking.
Publishing a first booking page
Hosted pages exist for the organization, each bookable person, and each named team.
Creating a first meeting type
Meeting types are the appointment categories guests book. Each has duration, buffers, notice, and assigned staff.
Scheduling
Hours, buffers, time zones, booking links, and guest changes.
Working hours
Weekly hours can be set for the organization, a person, or a meeting type.
Availability rules
Open times are the overlap of hours, exceptions, existing appointments, and connected calendars.
Buffers, minimum notice, and booking horizon
Each meeting type can pad time before and after a visit, refuse last-minute bookings, and cap how far ahead guests can book.
Time zones
The organization has a default zone. Each staff member can keep their own. Guests see times in a detected or selected zone.
Rescheduling and cancellation
Guests use a private token link. Staff use Calendar or Appointments. Windows are set on the meeting type.
Booking links
Organization, personal, team, meeting type, and (Business) extra alias URLs.
People & Teams
Invites, roles, teams, routing, and seats.
Inviting staff
Owners and admins invite from People & Teams. Public registration is not required for invitees.
Roles and permissions
Owner, Admin, Manager, and Member. Stored Member value is staff.
Creating teams
Teams and Business allow unlimited named teams. Bookable seats are billed per person.
Shared calendars and Team view
Owners set calendar scope. Team view shows assigned people. Members still only manage their own appointments.
Round-robin, least-busy, and weighted distribution
Assignment modes on a meeting type. Weighted targets are Business.
Team routing
A team booking page only offers members of that named team who are assigned to the meeting type.
Seat management
The counter is bookable staff versus purchased Stripe quantity, not headcount.
Integrations
Google, Microsoft, and Zoom connections.
Google Calendar and Google Meet
Each staff member connects their own Google account from Settings → Integrations or Calendars.
Outlook and Microsoft Teams
Per-staff Microsoft connection for calendar busy time and optional Teams meeting links.
Connecting Zoom
Per-staff Zoom OAuth. Join URLs can be attached to appointments when Zoom is connected.
Connecting and disconnecting accounts
Integrations are per staff member. Disconnect from the same Integrations screen.
Website & Embeds
Hosted links and Business website widgets.
Website embeds and hosted links
Every plan has hosted booking URLs. Inline, popup, and floating widgets are Business.
Installing inline, popup, and floating widgets
Business snippets, allowed origins, and common frame issues.
Common embed installation problems
Blank frames, refused origins, and mixed-content blocks.
Billing & subscriptions
Plans, seats, trials, invoices, and cancellation.
Plans, monthly and annual billing
Individual $10 / $96, Teams $15 / $144 per user, Business $24 / $228 per user.
Changing plans and seats
Plan changes and seat quantity go through Stripe. The app shows purchased quantity, not unlimited Business seats.
Updating payment methods and invoices
Use the Stripe Customer Portal from Plan & Billing.
Canceling a subscription
Cancellation is requested in the Stripe Customer Portal and follows the current period.
What happens when a trial ends
Stripe bills the stored payment method. Failed payment moves the subscription toward past_due.
Account & security
Login, ownership, visibility, and data requests.
Login and account access
Email and password on app.calyndr.com. Password reset uses the auth email flow.
Organization ownership
Only the current owner can transfer ownership, and only to an active Admin who has joined.
Privacy and calendar visibility
Owners set calendar scope and appointment detail defaults per role.
Data requests and account closure
Email hello@calyndr.com. There is no self-serve export of the entire organization beyond in-app client CSV where entitled.
